Map My Drive is a simple, easy to use GPS tracking application that will plot where you drive on a map. 
Since all the data is stored on your device and is not sent across the internet, you can be sure that it is safe and secure. It is primarily designed to be used for tracking where a car drives, but could be used for other purposes as well such as biking or hiking.

You can create multiple Drives and have complete control over when you want to start and stop tracking for each Drive. Also for each Drive, you can see how far you traveled, how long it took you, see where you stopped and for how long, see what the weather was like along your Drive, and add custom pins to the map that can include images. In addition, Map My Drive can continually track your location (with your consent, of course) in the background freeing you up to use your phone for other purposes.

While tracking your location, you can quickly and easily share where you currently are with any of your friends.

Using the export options, you can export your Drive to a KML, GPX, or JSON file which can then be shared through email, Google Drive, or any supported installed app. In addition, you can also share a link to your Drive. Every time you share a link to your map, your Drive is exported to your Google Drive account and made available for public viewing to anyone with a link. A special link is then generated which will display your Drive in any web browser making it a perfect way to share your Drive with your friends and family.

Remember, since the files are stored in your Google Drive, you have complete control over them. You can delete them or update the permissions on the files at any time. Please keep in mind that when sharing a link, the file needs to have public viewing permissions otherwise users may not be able to see your Drive with the link you shared.

Since continued use of any GPS service running in the background can significantly decrease battery life, there is a setting that you can change within the app to help fit your needs and reduce battery usage.

I love the apps that do one thing and do it awesome, and this app is one of them. The accurate is great and Its really intuitive with a simple ui. Great!
Fanfriggintastic. I use it as a navigation aid, at night you can follow the red bread crumbs home.
Let me start off by saying that the app does exactly what it says and it does it pretty darn well. The app is designed pretty good too. You can export XML save to google drive all kinds of cool features to export. The fact that your drives are stored locally on the device is a good security feature that i am happy to see. The only problems i have with it is: (And theyre minor complaints just for the sake of being the 1st reviewer and hoping to see the developer address it.) 1) no iphone 6 plus resolution support - totally not a deal breaker since the app is good and does what i want it to. 2) the ads are a bit inconvenient while driving and i would be more than happy to pay $0.99 or even $1.99 even $3.99 for this app to have an add free version that is just meat and potatoes and works as is... Aside from those 2 things the app is GREAT! And works well! Thanks for making it!!

Some bad moments

The app tracks location even when its closed. Change only when used.
whatever permissions I set in location service, as soon as I lock my phone the app doesnt capture all markers. did a 130 mile ride on my motorcycle and had only 5 markers. setting was on 1 mile.
It is perfectly accurate and does exactly what it says. Its smooth and simple to use. Some features dont work but those arent really necessary. Great fast customer support as well.
We used this app several trips and it was pretty spot on as far as the track. We would really like to see the ability to download the track as a kml file. This would allow us to pull in the track to google earth and share it with others so they can see where we went. That would be very cool. This function would make it very useful for our car club.
Great for canvassing a neighborhood and making sure you hit every street.
I need to export the data and all this does is keep track for fun I guess. Its free and the design is cute but its paralyzed by its limited functionality and is essentially good only for answering what you could almost find out from google maps or your odometer. Has a lot of promise and Ill keep my eye out for updates. It should log places you stop at in the notes and allow export to csv.
